Insuring the Maxus Euniq & Mifa 9 – electric space wonders, properly covered
Whether the Euniq 5 and 6 as electric family vans or the Mifa 9 as a business van: Maxus brings e-mobility to the full-size format. We insure all three – privately and commercially, with the EV modules that matter.
- E-van
- Fully electric vans – classified as EVs, with possible EV discounts.
- 7 seats
- Family or shuttle duty – driver circle and usage properly arranged.
- eVB number
- Once you accept the quote we issue the eVB – for several vehicles one after another if needed.
Family car, company shuttle – or both
Maxus models often run commercially: as hotel shuttles, in care services, as ride alternatives or company vehicles. Each of these usages belongs explicitly in the contract – we arrange tariffs that include passenger transport or commercial use instead of excluding it in the small print.
Technically, EV rules apply: the large battery needs proper casco cover (overvoltage, rodent-bite consequential damage, charging accessories). And without German type codes you need an insurer that handles the classification – we issue the eVB numbers for several vehicles one after another if needed, for example when building a fleet.
Besides no-claims class and region, usage drives the premium here: a family vehicle, a company car and passenger transport are three different risks. We clarify this before quoting – usage that turns out to differ later is one of the most common points of dispute in a claim.
Technically we watch the high-voltage topics across all three models: cover for the traction battery, consequential damage from overvoltage or rodent bites, and whether charging cables and the wallbox are included. With several vehicles we bundle the contracts so conditions and renewal dates stay uniform.
Electric vans & e-SUV
We classify the Maxus Euniq 5, Euniq 6 & Mifa 9 by the technical data in its individual approval – power, value, segment – instead of failing on missing type codes.

The fully electric Seres 3 compact SUV almost always arrives in Germany as an import with individual approval.

Drive electric, with a petrol engine as generator: the Forthing 7 REEV's range-extender concept is clever – but fits no standard field in German tariff calculators.
