What matters with the Haval H6

The H6 reaches Germany partly through official channels, partly as a direct import with an individual approval under Sec. 13 EG-FGV. In the latter case the German key numbers are missing – online calculators abort, and whoever does get a quote often pays a blanket "exotic surcharge" the car doesn't deserve.

We rate the H6 by its technical data: power, value, segment. The result is a classification in line with comparable European compact SUVs – with liability, partial or full casco and a properly documented vehicle value for casco claims. For hybrid variants we make sure the drivetrain is recorded correctly.

The premium for an H6 comes from the same factors as for any other car: your no-claims class, the regional class where you live, annual mileage and who drives it. Only the type class is missing – and that is exactly what our manual rating replaces. In the tariff the H6 is therefore rarely an expensive special risk, just a normal compact SUV.

Casco cover is where it matters: for imports without a dealer network, a vehicle value cleanly documented via purchase contract and first registration keeps the replacement value from being talked down in a claim. On request we also look at a new-price or purchase-price clause for the first years and at free workshop choice – often a practical advantage for parts and know-how with imported models.
